Ruth K. is a self-taught and trained hairstylist based in Maryland, specializing in bridal, special events, photoshoots, and everyday wear. More recently, Ruth became a Certified Scalp and Hair Care Specialist which has been her desire for quite some time. Her passion for hair began in childhood, when she styled her dolls and her own hair, eventually becoming the go-to stylist for friends and family. By college, Ruth was known for her braids, sew-ins, and custom units, and in 2013 she took on her very first bridal client—a moment that opened the door to a new calling.

Ruth believes hairstyling is more than just creating beautiful looks; it’s about providing a complete experience that uplifts and encourages every woman in her chair. With a background in healthcare administration and mental health, she brings both artistry and compassion to her work, seeing hairstyling as an opportunity to empower others. 

With Ruth's focus on scalp and hair care, the goal is to allow each client leave with clarity and hope for their overall wellness.
